Barry Primary & Nursery School

Barry Primary School is a community school, situated a couple of miles from the town centre and near to Abington Park.  We are proud to have a strongly inclusive approach to school life and have a great school community of children, staff, parents, governors and friends.  We are keen that our children will be well-rounded members of society in the future and as well as promoting academic excellence, we offer lots of opportunities for music, creativity and sport.

We are a two form entry school, spread over a large urban site – Nursery, main school, annexe and neighbouring sports annexe.  Children come to us from the local community but also from further afield.

Our children are thoughtful, helpful and polite – with lots of energy!  Our Curriculum is fun and exciting – we love having visitors, trips both near and far, as well as enrichment topics.  At Barry Primary School we firmly believe that children deserve the very best opportunities and that is what we strive to provide.
