Welcome to Nursery at Barry Primary and Nursery School – a year of wonder, growth and curiosity!

In Nursery, we believe that the early years are magical – a time where curiosity blooms, confidence takes root and everyday is an exciting adventure.

Our Nursery is based in its own building, led by our dedicated team of early years professionals. We are a child-led setting, designed around nurturing and supporting each child’s unique journey.  We ensure that every child feels safe, happy and inspired to learn. The setting is resourced with many natural materials, offering a homely continuous provision. We have a spacious inside classroom and a wonderful outside play space which includes a small forest-type area, a large sandpit, water play, climbing apparatus and a wide range of bicycles.

From the first smile at drop-off to the proud moments of newfound independence, we’re here every step of the way!

We offer both 15 and 30 hour places for children aged 3+
