THANKS to the generous donations of our families t THANKS to the generous donations of our families today we raised over £214 for Toilet Twinning as part of our CARE week (Respect). This will enable three communities to have toilets and clean water in Nepal.

More information: When you twin your toilet, you help support people living in poverty with sustainable access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

In the UK, using the loo, drinking water or washing our hands is something we don’t have to think twice about. By twinning your toilet today, you help bring that same access, dignity and safety to communities around the world.

Session for parents of children with SEND: Monday Session for parents of children with SEND:

Monday, November 9 • 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Overview

This is open to any families living in or who have children/young people accessing education in Northamptonshire

Our introductory SEN parent/carer workshop aims to empower parents/carers or the professionals working with SEN children/young people to support them navigating the online world.

This includes understanding why those with SEN use the internet, the risks involved, how you can support them and understand the terminology they may use. We use the latest data, laws and research to inform our practice and the guidance you receive.

We also look at the pressures young people face, increase their awareness of the grooming process, the risks associated with indecent image sharing and inform you on how to report online harms so you feel equipped to support your young people.

We will cover the upcoming law changes and the potential impact it could pose.

What a brilliant day of hands-on learning and bringing history to life! ⚔️🛡️

Due to the already hot weather this morning, we have made a decision to restrict today's Y5/6 Sports Day to the PDC field area only. Please join us there from 9.30-10.30am for our races ONLY. We realise cutting short the sports day may be disappointing for everyone, however the safety of children and adults has to be our priority. Please be aware that there will be some sitting around for the children between races because both year groups will now be altogether, this is unavoidable, but we will endeavour to turn the races around as quickly as possible to reduce this. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

The children learned essential lifesaving skills, including CPR, how to help someone who is choking, treating burns and breaks, and the recovery position.

It was an engaging and informative session, and the children have gained valuable knowledge and skills that could help them in real-life situations. Well done, Year 4! 👏🚑🩹
